Professional History

EY | Ellise USA | Trans Union | Bank of America

I have more than 30 years of business experience, initially as a certified public accountant with Ernst & Young (EY) after graduating college at Hofstra University. I moved from public accounting to work in corporate management as controller at Ellesse USA, a division of Reebok, then in credit services at Trans Union Corporation.

In 1996 I was Sr. Vice President at  Bank of America (BOA) Auto Group.

Dealertrack

I was a founder at Dealertrack, a public company traded on the NASDAQ exchange.  As Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Technical Officer (CTO), I was responsible for Dealertrack's Mergers & Acquisitions Group, ultimately acquiring a total of 24 companies, including Dealer.com, Kelly Blue Book, Chrome Systems, Incadea, VINtek, ClickMotive and others.

I was Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Executive Vice President of Technology & Service Solutions at Dealertrack when it was acquired by Cox Automotive for $4 billion in 2015.

API

I began working with Accommodations Plus International (API) as a financial consultant in introducing outside equity to what had been a closely-held family business. I accepted the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of API shortly after funding tranches were completed.

At my present position as CEO, API has grown to manage lodging and ground transportation for the flight crews of 100+ airlines worldwide booking more than 10 million hotel rooms every year. API has opened new operations centers in North America, South America and Asia, and expanded its service sectors to manage accommodations for crews at rail systems, cruise lines and for traveling sports teams.

Investments

I carefully consider investments in select companies and enterprises including Mojio - a technology company serving the automotive industry, and EverSafe - fraud and identity-theft technology solutions.
